Punjab Agricultural Tax Calculator
Agricultural income is taxed by the provinces, not FBR. This calculator covers the Punjab Agricultural Income Tax on farm earnings – crops, livestock, orchards and related agricultural activity.
Why agricultural tax is separate
Under Pakistan’s constitution, taxing agricultural income is a provincial subject. Punjab, Sindh, KP and Balochistan each run their own schedules with different slabs, exemptions and filing procedures. A calculator or guide written for Punjab does not apply in Sindh – and FBR’s income tax return is a different filing altogether. If you earn both agricultural and non-agricultural income, you may need to deal with two tax authorities.
Verification in progress. Punjab’s agricultural tax schedule is being compiled from the Punjab Revenue Authority’s official notifications.
